“I was looking at your website today,, and felt a need to tell you this: Every time I share your story with a friend or family member I always send them to your website, however, each time before I do so, I always go there myself and click on the different links. It is amazing how powerful your words make me feel. No matter what type of mood I am in, or how my day is going, I know that when I go to your website I am guaranteed a smile and a great feeling. Peter you are a great motivator and I appreciate and am very thankful that you are in my life.”

“Dear Peter,

Bill and I recently attended the L3 conference in Asheville, NC, where we received the surprise room gift one night of several books, including your “Be Great”. At this busy time of year with the holidays almost upon us and after multiple fall trips that had already kept us away from home way too long, I certainly never intended to pick up what was buried in the suitcase under, presumably, more business-oriented books. Serendipitously, however, I did indeed just finish your easy-read over the last few days.

First and foremost, it made me realize that reading books is a passion that I need to once again prioritize!

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you and hearing about your life’s journey through the book. Your writing style was very engaging, with the numerous quotes, stories, and anecdotes you’ve collected well-integrated and cross-referenced throughout the message you wanted to deliver. I’ve told several people about the book, which is particularly timely, since we’ve just started volunteering in a mentoring program for underserved youth. At my age, I’m aware of much of the book’s perspective already, but I really found it a useful layering-on of the message, human nature being such that it is! One of its most powerful strengths, I think, is being a quick read (every New Year’s week?) to remind one of how to stay the course.

Several days later, on a quiet, bright Saturday when I had some time alone, somewhat unexpectedly, I did actually construct my values in written form — a vastly different process and experience from just loosely carrying this sense around in one’s head. I then formulated some clarity around my passions and went on to develop a bucket list. This was important for me, because as basically a career at-home mother to four children and the spouse of an energetic, type A, former YPOer, I’m increasingly conscious of my life and potential being absorbed by the caretaking and support of those I love, easily a never-ending focus of my time. The exercise really boosted my sense of self as a distinct individual!

Anyway, Peter, I’m writing to send my heartfelt thanks for so generously gifting all the L3 attendees with your book and more broadly for prioritizing sharing your personal gifts through the book for the inspiration, encouragement, and support of the many people who will now be able to read about making a success of this life’s journey. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed hearing Rita speak on nutrition in the past (and purchased her cookbook!) and look forward to seeing you both again at some future L3 event.

With much appreciation,

Hilary Mido

“I was overwhelmed by Peter Thomas yesterday. Thanks for giving me that opportunity. His behavior is authentic and there’s enormous source credibility in his voice and physical appearance. The content is also very rich and the use of stories for visualization may be the best of have heard and seen.”

Your “foundations” have taken you a few steps further over and above the Lifepilot concept which to me was also a master piece in the making.  You practically elevated the standards over and above “Values” and have prioritized the Values to fall within the first Foundation of 5.  You have practically given a technical understanding to how one can continue to succeed while living a happier life doing so.

“As a student, advocate and teacher of personal development, I feel a strong sense that you wrote Be Great directly to me. I cannot remember a book ever having this much of a profound effect on me. Your mix of stories and hints of wisdom are quite simply amazing. THANK YOU for writing it. I believe your willingness to share your life lessons will change lives forever.”

This book worked for me as an eye opener. It allowed me to
see what I was doing right and wrong in my life, and where I might need
to make some changes. I truly believe what Mr. Thomas says about living
your life according to your values. It is sometimes a difficult task to
accomplish, but I am working all the time to get better at it. One other
thing I really liked about this book were the quotes in it. Many famous
people said things I did not know they said and many other people had
quotes that I viewed as great advice.

I really just wanted to email you to thank you for the time you took to
talk to myself and my team, and for sharing the book, “Be Great”, with
me.
