Interview with Good Morning Arizona’s Tara Hitchock on Be Great and presenting her with the Greatification Coin

The Story

Sometime ago John Assaraf, a very close friend, gave me a coin much like the one known as “The Greatification Coin”. John suggested I keep the coin close to my heart and each time I became aware of its presence, to take a moment to “be grateful”. I took this to mean to “be grateful for everything”.  That is:  good health, a fantastic life, a wonderful family, the best friends, a simply amazing partner, a truly historic time to be living … I could go on and on. We all have so many things to be grateful for.

To this day the coin is never far from me and I cannot explain how fantastic it makes me feel. As I touch the coin or look at it sitting next to my computer when I am working I cannot help but smile. The coin has become a symbol of how lucky I am. My wife Rita feels the same way about her coin.  We have gifted the coin to many friends and family and they all love it.   I feel confident that you too will enjoy owning a “Greatification Coin”.

Let this beautiful “Greatification” gold coin be a constant reminder of the importance of being grateful for all that you have.    Ponder on the ancient proverb “I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet”.  The origin is unknown but the message is powerful.

If you are experiencing a difficult moment or feel yourself veering off your path to Greatification, hold this coin close and focus on all that you are truly thankful for in your life.  Do not let your thoughts linger on what you do not have but rather on all that you do have.  Gratitude is one of life’s greatest virtues and will only lead to happiness.

I suggest you also pass this coin onto your friends, family and colleagues to show your appreciation and love for them so they too can pursue the art of Greatification.
